Hi Joe. If I were you, I would bring it to few watch repair shops and ask around on what can they do to bring it to life, and how much it will cost. A classic watch like that is usually quite expensive to buy in the second hand market thanks to its scarcity so if you can find someone that can repair it cheaply, then lucky you!
I usually deal with pocket watches, but picked up an Ingersoll Radiolite, the same pictured on your site. I cleaned the movement, and the watch does work for a short while. I know you push the stem to set, but cannot figure out how to wind the watch. Help would be appreciated.
You’ve gotten yourselves a nice watch then Mark! Unfortunately I cannot be of help to you in this case as I’ve never owned a Radiolite. Perhaps you can ask around on watch forums or FB groups on this.
just turn the crown & it should wind it
I have the above watch but,it has a plastic type crystal and no wrist band. Looks good but doesn’t work! Should I toss it?
